Meet the Heart Behind The Thoughtful Basket

Katia De Santos moved to Canada a few years ago to be closer to her two daughters and grandchildren. Her passion for giving unique and memorable gifts led to the creation of The Thoughtful Basket. Katia crafts these special gifts herself and collaborates with Canadian small business owners to curate one-of-a-kind gift boxes. With a strong desire to give back to her new home, she focuses on supporting local businesses and showcasing their talent. Her youngest daughter, Vanessa, shares her handcrafted jewelry in the baskets, while her oldest daughter, Katia, manages the website and technology side, bringing the family’s vision to life.
